This was shot while I was running the audio for the
bluegrass stage at a festival in Winston Salem. I had
brought my camera with me for whatever reason and was
just fiddling around while I had a moment. the sun
was in my face for the first couple of hours which
made the job annoying but I snapped off some nice
photos so that kind of makes it worth my while? So
anyways, heres a nice simple desktop of the mixing
board I was using.

This was from a series of photos from the past. You
might think this looks familiar seeing as I used one
of these photos as the header for this web page. I
find them so intricate and amazing looking like they
are their own little worlds. I still don't quite
understand how the sunlight and shade was soooo
perfect that day. The magic of photography I suppose.

This image is also from a series of photos that I
shot at a lake around Greensboro a while back, you
may notice that there is a desktop or two in the
classics gallery that is from this same set of
images. I just really like then and I thought I would
post a couple more. I named this one Canyon because I
couldn't come up with a better name for it and the
little crack in the middle made that word come to
mind. I need to work on naming these desktops better.

This is a photo of a little corner of a painting that
i found in the bathroom of a pancake house somewhere
on the NC coastline. I know the image is pretty noisy
but I really liked the texture of the paint and the
colors in this. I hope you like is as much as I do.

It's skies like these that make you remember why life
is so good sometimes. This was shot down in Orlando,
FL while I was on tour with my "band" A Drop In
Silence and Calmer. We had a lot of free time to hang
out with some friends down there which was nice and
one evening there was this amazing sunset over this
lake in Orlando where we were staying. Thought you
all might enjoy the feeling this brings me as well.
Enjoy!

You would think that with all of the bug photos that
I have taken recently that I have an interest in
bugs. Well I'm not the biggest fan of them really. I
just keep running into some really interesting ones
for some reason. Just look at the detail on this
grasshopper! It's so amazing how intricate they are.
I think that it's legs are the most interesting part,
the pattern running down them seems so artificial.
The two photos that I have posted of this little guy
are a little on the blurry side because It just
didn't want to stay still for me but they came out a
lot nicer than I thought they would. I hope that you
find the intricacies of the world as interesting as I
do!

This was on a river outside of Philadelphia which was
really to low for canoeing but it was oh so relaxing
to be out in the woods rowing down a river on a boat.
I just thought I would post this because its such a
relaxing image that helps put me at ease when I close
out of all my working windows and have nothing there
but this desktop to remind me of these kinds of
moments in life.

I shot this while I was visiting some friends of a
friend in Philadelphia. It is part of a chess board
in the living room of the house that I was staying
in. If I'm remembering correctly the chess board was
a hand carved chess set from mexico that was bought
down there on vacation. As with the seagull image
which I posted a while back I like the use of white
in the image and the way the subject matter kind of
creeps out of it.
