"Construct"

This was shot up in New York while I was up there playing a show with Matt as A Drop In Silence. I remember seeing this construction out of the corner of my eye in an alleyway and kind of whipped up my camera as I was walking along to snap a photo. The original is in full color and its a vertical shot but I like this version. The yellow bulldozer thing down in the bottom of the shot gives the shot a strange balance that I really like for whatever reason. I may do another version of this in the future...

"Fly"

This was made a few months back and was originally going to be used with a cd cover I was working on but the band ended up going with something a bit darker than this. I recently came across the image again and thought it would make for a nice desktop. Hope you like it.

"Phantom"

I know the title is kind of silly, I was going to call this ghost but I already have a desktop called Ghost so Phantom it is. This was shot backstage in a theatre where I was working at one night for a show. (Sound engineering and PA systems and all that is one of my lines of work other than design and photography.) So I went backstage and found this cool spot and saw an opportunity for a neat photo. The original was a vertical shot so its cropped as well as I could crop it. When I shot this I stuck the aperture at 20 or something like that and exposed the shot for a good 30 seconds or so which gave me enough time to run down to the other side of the stage and stand there which made for a nice ghostly figure. I thought of messing around a bit more but I was at work and all so this is what I have.

"Sunday"

Here is one last flower desktop. Nothing to much to say about it really, I just thought it was a nice shot of some flowers and I never really shoot flowers that often because they don't really present much of a challenge while shooting. Anyways, enjoy the photo! Oh, and there are two versions of the desktop, the wide version has black bars across the top and bottom of the image but the image is not cropped like the normal version. The choice is yours.

"Peek-A-Boo"

Here is another flower shot from the same yard as the desktop posted before this one. I liked the framing of this one and thought that it also made for a comfy spring desktop. I still have one, maybe two more in this series which will come along here soon. Enjoy!

"Purple"

Val and I went out on a walk a few days back and we came across someone planting about a billion or so flowers in his front yard and Val had the idea to head back and get my camera. Well I'm glad that I did because I grabbed a few shots that will make nice desktops. I will scatter them out over the next few days so here is the first photo from the series that I have called Purple. Any guesses to as why I named it that? Enjoy!

"Hike"

Here is Val's second appearance here on twistedsun.net, immortalized until the end of time as a desktop image. The first time was a photo that was published in MacHome Magazine a while back and you can find it in the Classics section of the site. This was also shot while out on a trip in the mountains of North Carolina. I was looking back through the photos from that trip and I realized that this would make for a great desktop so here you all go!
