"Quiet Nights"

This was shot a the end of a walk around Vals
neighborhood which had gotten together and put out
luminaries (white bags with sand and a lit candle in
the bottom) along every street in the area. It made
for a really peaceful winter walk. I did end up
making the image a bit smaller and placed it in the
center of the desktop and this is because i was not
happy with the amount of noise present in the dark
areas of the image. i was shooting sans tripod so i
had to stop down a bit and use some high iso
settings. Anyways, this image ended up being a really
really nice desktop for the holidays and whatnot so
check it out!
